Some common faults of bellows stop valve:
1、 The motor does not match the valve
The selected motor model does not match the electrical installation requirements, the actual output torque does not have enough corresponding margin, and the motor is easy to be damaged when operating under overload.
Second, the temperature control protection in the motor fails
The motor is equipped with a temperature control switch. When the valve motor is over torqued or running for a long time, the motor temperature rises, and exceeds the set temperature value, the temperature control switch will immediately cut off the control circuit to protect the motor.
Third, improper packaging, transportation and storage
The motor packaging shall be rain proof, moisture-proof and dust-proof, and the packaging shall be firm and reliable. It is prohibited to conduct commissioning or maintenance in rainy days. After commissioning, all fasteners shall be tightened to ensure that all electrical parts are sealed tightly and reliably. Rain proof measures shall be taken during transportation. The products shall be stored in a ventilated and dry place after arriving at the site, and shall not be stored in the open air.
Fourth, improper control of stroke position adjustment
The opening and closing torque value shall include the actual working torque value of the valve plus the torque value of the valve itself. The size of the opening and closing torque affects the use of the valve. A large force is easy to damage, while a small force is easy to leak. The stroke position control is related to the valve diameter, opening and closing time and structure.
Therefore, when the motor of the bellows stop valve fails, it shall be solved in time, but the normal use of the valve shall be ensured to ensure the normal construction.
